HUGE Birthday Haul Pt.2 - The Other Stuff...

I can't believe how far away my birthday seems now! So crazy! I feel like I'm writing these post's super late, however I've been waiting on some things being delivered hence why I've postponed it!
Instead of boring you with a big introduction I'm just gonna get straight into it!☺

First off, my tattoos! In my wishlist I put a photo in of a hint of what my big tattoo was going to be and in case you're still wondering what it is; it's the rose from the Beauty and The Beast with a stained glass window effect in a gorgeous frame on the front of my thigh! It isn't finished yet as I'm not tough enough to sit for hours but it's coming along nicely so far! I did get a few other little ones but I'm gonna do a whole post on my tattoo's once this one is finished!☺

This was one of my favourite gifts to get! Seeing that precious blue box that every girl wishes for was such a surprise to get! My family from Australia got me this Tiffany & Co. Necklace which makes it extra special to me as I don't get to see them as much, it's nice that this will always make me think of them!☺♥

Another jewellery item I got was this gorgeous ring that my Nanna gave me, it was one of hers, it's real pearl which is also my birthstone! My Nanna is like my best friend & I'll definitely treasure this ring forever, it's super gorgeous & so classy, I love it!♥

Keeping with the jewellery theme, I got the top pieces from a friend (along with other bits, thanks Jen!) I love them, I've been wearing the necklace loads with collared shirts, just gives it a nice touch!
The earrings below, I bought myself from River Island (with my birthday money though!) I thought the design was gorgeous & they look 10x better in person, the only downside is that they're really heavy in your ears so I couldn't wear these for too long!

So... I kinda went a little crazy for chunky/silver/holographic shoes & got 3 different pairs, oops!
The ones at the back are platform heels with a cleated sole which were from La Moda, the middle pair are actually from Primark, they're more of an everyday shoe however I probably would wear these out aswell as I get sick of heels sometimes, lastly the front pair are from Firetrap, they're silver sparkly flat form trainers & were on sale on the USC website so I had to get them!♥

UGH, My favourite pair of shoes that I got are these A Go Go heels by Kat Von D! I know they're probably not everyone's taste but they are mine & I'm obsessed with them I just can't wait until I have an excuse to wear them with  these false nails from Little Mix's collection too cos they totally match my shoes☺ (yes I like my nails to co-ordinate with my shoes lol).

My recent obsession lately has been Dexter! So I obviously had to get the box set! If you're into crime/gore and hot guys, this is the right TV series for you! haha. I'm totally obsessed & it never fails to get me on edge! Since I took a trip into HMV to get the box set, I also has a realisation that I barely owned any Disney DVD's... so I got 5! I couldn't believe that I didn't own these already so I just got them since I had the money for them haha.

OK, if you know me, you might know that I have a little obsession with Michael Jackson, so obviously I HAD to get Xscape, duh!♥ I've listened to this album so much since I got it, I'm just in love with this man's music! A Place With No Name has to be my favourite! Give it a listen, it's such a great album & who doesn't love a bit of MJ?!

Last but not least, I got this gorgeous 'Birthday Girl' glass from my friend Chelsey and the bottle of Jack Daniel's from my friend Emily as she knew it's my favourite - what a babe! I'm honestly shocked I haven't drank the bottle by now though!♥

There was quite a few bits & bobs that I missed out but I didn't want to make this 2 part post even longer and bore you all to death! I just wanted to share my favourite presents that I got!
I'm super grateful for everything I got & I just want to make a quick disclaimer & say that I am in no way bragging, I just know that people really enjoy reading these kind of posts & having a nosey at what people got for their birthday (as do I!)☺

Anyway thanks for reading, leave me some comments!♥
Also please let me know if there's certain products from both posts that you'd like to know more about or anything!☺

HUGE Birthday Haul Pt.1 - The Beauty Bits...

Incase you didn't realise from my other posts, I turned 18 just 2 weeks ago! And since turning 18 is kind of a big deal (well it is to me & my family anyway)  that meant I got lots of presents & I also bought myself a lot of gifts too (oops!)
I see Birthday Haul's floating around all the time & since I got so many exciting things this year, I thought this would be the ideal birthday to do one myself! I might as well just get straight into it & just give brief little opinions/reviews 'cause it's gonna be a loooong post & that's after I've split it into 2 parts! And if you read my wishlist post which was also rather long, you would've seen there was quite a lot of things that I wanted haha!☺

On my wishlist, I hoped for either a Chanel or YSL lipstick and after a very very hard long decision, I went with this! Chanel's Rouge Allure Velvet in 38 La Fascinante and wow, I'm so glad I did! This is perfect classic red in my opinion! But not only is the colours beautiful, the formula and the packaging make it 50x better, I wore this for my birthday meal & after 3 courses of food & drinks, my lipstick had barely faded, I didn't need to top up at all! 100% recommend!♥

I've been after these 3 little beauties for ages now & I eventually got them! Hallelujah! I've used these so much in the short time I've had them, the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette is perfect if you love bare eyes or I normally use bare matte shades when I do a winged liner look!
I'm not gonna lie, I am slightly dissapointed with the Urban Decay De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray as it doesn't control my oily-ness at all, however it definitely holds my make up in place, but as for the oil control? very disappointing!
As for the Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara, I wish I'd picked this up months ago! I take a bit of pride in my bottom lashes (lol totes vain) as I think mine are really long & I could never ever even think about not wearing mascara on them. Because this has such a tiny brush, it literally coats each lash so perfectly & there is no mess whatsoever! love love LOVE!♥

I have been super super excited about the Kelly & Sharon Osbourne MAC Collection ever since I heard it was coming out! So about a week before the online release date, I went to my local MAC counter & asked when they would be selling it in store which the girl told me that it'd be Thursday the 12th, so I got up super early & went first thing in the morning & took a 45 minute bus ride before work just so I could get the items I wanted, when I got there, it was sold out! I was sooo angry/upset, as they obviously weren't going on sale that day & had 2 days before! However I still got the Kelly Osbourne Lipstick in Kelly Yum Yum & Sharon Osbournes Patent Polish Lip Pencil in Patent Pink, thinking I'd like them but I actually don't see myself ever wearing these, so if you're on depop I'm selling/swapping these! I'm so gutted & angry with MAC!
Sorry for the long life story there, but even though I was mad about that girl lying about the collection release date, there was still 2 bits I wanted, I picked up the Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Soft Ochre and a Lipglass in Oyster Girl, I love both these products, but I don't think I'll ever buy from that MAC store again (here comes another story sorry) but as I was looking at the Lipglass stand aswell a girl who worked there just totally ignored me & spun the stand around which I was clearly looking at! Then I was stood by the Paint Pot stand & there was a MAC girl watching me whilst she put some stock into the draw just underneath, yet she never once acknowledged me or anything. This isn't the first time something like that has happened and they're always so rude to me & I always feel like they look down on me as if they're better, so I just wanna say, SCREW YOU SNOBBY MAC GIRLS, YOU WON'T BE HAVING MY CUSTOM AGAIN!

Sorry about that rant... I'll get back onto the subject haha!

My Real Techniques Brush Collection is now complete! I got the Silicone Liner Brush & the Travel Essentials Kit I've been after these for ages to complete my little collection, so unless they bring out more amazing brushes, I finally have all the Real Techniques Brushes that I wanted! YAY!☺

I got a few little bits from Collection including: Gothic Glam Lipstick, Glam Crystals Glitter Eyeliner in Glitz, Luscious Lashes & 2 Limited Edition Lip Blams from the Mardi Gras Collection! I really like all these products & they're so good for such affordable prices!♥

I was going to get the Urban Decay Electric Palette, however after I thought about it, I told myself that I'd probably never use it as I'm not a massive user of bright colours, I always stick to quite nude colours etc, so I didn't want to spend about £40 on a palette that I mightn't even get use out of! But when I went into Superdrug I spotted this MUA Pallette in Poptastic which to me, is very similar, but since it's only £4, I'm not bothered if I don't use it much, but this summer I am going to push myself to wear more colour & I might even write up a post on how to do a really bright look, so keep a look out!♥

Another thing(s) I picked up from Superdrug was this combo! I've used the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation in the past & loved it but since my skin hasn't been too spotty I thought I'd try it out again and even though I haven't been getting as many spots, my skin has still been super oily so I thought I'd try out the Rimmel Stay Matte Primer to see if it controls my oil a bit, which I personally don't think it works too well, but I'm definitely less oily when I've got this on underneath my foundation!☺

OK so this isn't exactly beauty but it is perfume so I guess it kind of is? Anyway, my best friend Steph got me this Katy Perry Killer Queen Perfume after she'd saw on my wishlist post that I'd wanted it, so she is such a little a gem for getting my this, so thank you very much if you're reading Stephy! ;-)
It smells absolutely gorgeous, the bottle is amazing & it's by Katy Perry so what more could you want?

Anyway, thanks for reading if you made it this far! I'll Post Part 2 of my big birthday haul next week!
Please leave me some comments to reply to and let me know if there is any specific products you'd like a more detailed review on!☺

MOTD: My Birthday Party - Hawaiian Themed!

So yes, in case you didn't know, it's been my birthday! And what a lovely little birthday I've had! I've been super busy & done loads hence why this post is a week late! Ooops! Now that it's over and done with I'll have more time again which means I will be posting more regularly & I have many posts planned already, including a huuuuuuge birthday haul which I might even split into 2 separate posts (yes, it's going to be that long!) So keep your eyes peeled for plenty of upcoming and exciting posts!♥

On to the subject of this post anyway, one of the things I did for my birthday was host a little Hawaiian themed party, it was basically just me & around 10 close friends, sitting in the garden getting a little too drunk whilst dressed up in flower garlands etc!☺

This was my favourite photo of us all!♥

Even though the dress code was clearly very bold & wacky, I just kept my make up very summery & fairly natural, here's a few close up's...

Excuse the gormless face in this one!

Some Make Up Details Include:
L'Oreal True Match Foundation, Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, The Balm Bahama Mama Bronzer, MUA Undress Me Highlighter, Maybelline Brow Drama, Urban Decay Half Baked Eyeshadow, MUA Lipstick in 'Nectar', Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara & Primark Eyelashes!♥

Also, my dress was from Select, My hawaiian shirt was from Primark (in the Men's section!) and my flower garland was from Tesco!♥

Also, here's a few fun photo's that were took☺
